I’m drawn to certain details within the overall picture, it’s my fascination. When I look at a landscape I’m interested in points of architectural detail, features as it were, possibly illuminated  by light. The surrounding information can become a blur but these focal points are what intrigues me. Portraiture is the same the features or expression in a face, to me, is what captures my attention and interest.
